vBulletin vBadvanced index.php need help please

I asked this over on vBulletin.org a little bit ago and I'm in the middle of my install. Thought you guys might be able to help since you know the FutureQuest environment. remember I'm the newbie ... three days now.

I now have a vBulletin testvb and a forums environment (thanks to help from here). I have installed all the vBadvanced code into testvb. I'll learn it, modify it, etc...then do forums.

Where do I put the cmps_index.php file? Both testvb and forums are installed in www.

I have /big/dom/mydomain/www/testvb as the forumpath in cmps_index.php. Seems like if I install it in root (www) I wouldn't be able to use vBadvanced on forums when I am ready.

Here are my two paths per forumpath.php:
/big/dom/xlakemurrayforums/www/testvb
/big/dom/xlakemurrayforums/www/forums

Please give me some guidance on how to set up these index.php files so I will have a full test and a forums environment. Thanks.

rename cmps_index.php file to index.php and install it at

/big/dom/xlakemurrayforums/www/index.php

there's also a path that has to be correct in cmps_index.php file for it to work correctly.
