It is wayyyy past time I cleaned up all the .log files on my site from my FTP app. (It creates a .log file inside each directory as it makes an upload, and then if sync it again sometime, the .log file goes with.) I am nearly telnet illiterate but can follow directions decently. Is there a quickie way to tell telnet to give me a list of all _____.log files on the site, and then delete the lot of them?

Just found this (http://www.aota.net/Telnet/commands.php4) on the AOTA Tutorials, I think I'm good. Thanks anyway :)

Your question rang a bell in my not-quite-awake mind-grapes.
Rembember this thread? (http://www.aota.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20930)

What's worse is that I had a vague recollection too, and actually searched for that thread first, on my hunch  . Thanks!

Don't feel bad - it took me a few tries to find the thread. I tried searching for "find rm" first, since those were the two commands I remember were involved. But I guess "rm" was too short to be indexed, because the results only highlighted "find". I eventually hit paydirt searching for "find . -name", which only a unix geek would be expected to remember.
Not only was I surprised to see that you started the original thread, but I was really shocked to see that I had posted as well.
Just yesterday, I bought something in a store, then left it at the register. If I hadn't taken a while to load groceries into the car, I would have driven off before the cashier found me.
From your post in another thread (but it fits better here):
... it's apparently Mandi Making Stupid Posts day. (Coming soon: Feel Sorry for Your Favorite Blond day . . . )Have you ever heard the OnStar spoof called BlondeStar? The emergency is... "I'm locked in my car and the keys are on the outside." The version on youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=qrt2q6Mpeyc) also has still photos to go along with the audio.
