I'm not sure I'm posting to the right forum but here goes.

I signed up for a FutureQuest Affiliate account. I logged into the Affiliate Manager, went to Ad Setup/Affiliate Ad Management/Select Ads/Buttons.

The page has several sections with clickable buttons labeled "Get HTML" but no sample buttons, which seemed odd. I clicked a button, copied the code and pasted it into my webpage.

When I viewed my webpage there was no button but instead a transparent area (no red X} where the button should be that was clickable. When this transparent area is clicked it takes you to FutureQuest's homepage.

The wonderful FQ support team spent alot of time trying to help me figure out the problem. After I discovered that the buttons are viewable both on my webpage and in the Affiliate Manager from the 2 other pcs in my home, it was concluded that the problem is on my pc.

The question is: What is it about my pc causing the buttons to not be viewable? I have viewed the webpage on 3 different browsers with the same results: FF, IE, and Netscape. All other images are displaying.

As an aside, I was checking my webpage with a Colorblind Web Page Filter at: http://colorfilter.wickline.org/
and the buttons are there when viewed with the filter!

Any ideas what the problem is?

My webpage URL is:
http://evansnet.org/paige/

The button should be below the "Proudly hosted by FutureQuest" link.

Patti, are you perhaps running ad-blocking software, either as a separate program or as part of a firewall package?

Is the following button shown in your browser;

Hello Patti,

Your page displays the FutureQuest Button fine for me right above the "Stat Counter" image, for what its worth...

It was Norton ad-blocking causing the problem. I disabled it and now I can view the buttons and banners. You guys are da bomb! :bow: (and by you guys I mean the whole FQ support community...tech support as well as the forum)

Patti,

Glad you figured out what the problem was... Norton has proved problematic to many others as well in a number of areas :(
