Things seem to be back up and running happily now, after email and web access was basically down.

What happened? A DoS attack?

We were able to shunt the DoS traffic, stemming the huge flood of UDP packets which was saturating some of the links. The network availability is back to normal again.

We'll be monitoring the situation closely. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience.
