I took a brief look at the link you provided, and it appears to me that you would be running the chat process on the server? If so, this would run afoul of the "no chat scripts" restriction in the TOS.

Typically, clients who run chat scripts on their FutureQuest hosted sites, provide links to a chat server that is hosted elsewhere. Chat scripts are too intensive for Community Servers.

Ah - I guess that's why the search didn't turn up anything. Now that you mention it I do remember that from back in the year 2000 :) I'm not much one for chat myself so I haven't really kept up with the available options in the last few years or even thought about it. I've used msn a little, but I guess having a chat integrated with a forum community for example could be a neat way to extend the community...
