I finally figured out why Firefox just sits there when I click on certain links, the status bar saying "Done" when nothing's happened. It's only secure sites that happens with. I've looked at every preference setting I could find and can't fix this. I've re-downloaded and re-installed till I'm blue in the face. Another account on the same machine has no problem so it's something in my own account preferences causing the problem. I've deleted every Firefox and Mozilla reference I could find and re-installed Firefox but this problem persists.
Any ideas?
