I keep receiving the following error message.

The connection to the server has failed. Account:'xxxx',Server:'xxxx.net',Protocol SMTP,Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I am able to receive email through this server, but unable to send. Would someone please tell me how to correct this problem, as it has only been happening for a week now.

Thanks, Kristen

It might be best to email tech support since some of the info should be confidential.

support@futurequest.net

be sure to tell them what email client you are trying to use and what you have in place for your settings.

Thanks Hearts,

I didn't think about the confidentiality so I went in and changed the names to xxx.

Take care,

It sounds like you are probably using outlook and trying to use a different "From Address" then what your domain is. That will not work. Your "From Address" needs to be "user@yourdomain.tld" for it to work.

This prevents others from being able to send mail with your smtp server from their boxes.

Let me know if changing your "From Address" to something@yourdomain.tld fixes the problem.
