View Full Version : TOPMARGIN="0" ! (but not in Netscape)
Ok,
I've tried margin-top: 0; in style sheets and I tried TOPMARGIN="0" in the normal html <BODY> tag... they both work in Microsoft IE but neither are working in Netscape.
I have an image -- goes across the top of the page within a table.. but there is a default margin showing at the top of the page and I NEED that margin gone. It looks great in IE w/o the margin but lacks much in NS because the margin is there...
Anyone know of an equivalent to margin=0 for Netscape?
Thanks ahead of time

I don't have an answer, but I will say that a lot of CSS stuff doesn't work in NS - it took me forever to get my simple site to look the same in both browsers. All because of a stupid font.
Also, Netscape doesn't support hover colors for links of any kind (at least I've never seen them work in NS).
Here's what I think: http://www.vdj.net/files/netscape.gif

Well you're no help http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif
You are right that hover does not work in Netscape (annoying isn't it) but there has got to be a way to define that default margin http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif (least I was really hoping so). Sadly -- I'm not able to find one http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif

It's the one in the middle! I didn't even have to view the source for that one!
Hover color is when you hover the mouse over a link in Explorer it changes color. You can control this color only with CSS. Netscape just plain doesn't support it.
Actually, I think you can do that in JavaScript too, I don't know.
