Linking home page to 2nd page

Hi everyone! I am a new kid on the block. I have just created my home page recently. Just today, I started creating my second page. My question is: why won't my link from page 1 to page 2 work? I wrote the link as an href to susogi.net/myname/2ndpagename.htm and it still doesn't work. I've tried everything and I'm getting frustrated (and sleepy,it's 1:50 AM here). Can anyone help? Deb if you're there, please check out your WebGardens design on my home page (it's beautiful!). Oh yeah, it's wierd, cuz my link from page 2 back to my home page works! I don't get it! Can anyone help me?

You're fix is a simple one but a VERY COMMON mistake so don't feel bad.... at this hour these types of errors are to be expected *grin*

You are trying to link to irish.htm instead of Irish.htm

The page name has a capital I. Everything is case sensitive when it comes to file names..

So this line
<a href="irish.htm">

Should be
<a href="Irish.htm">

Once you make that adjustment all will work fine http://www.aota.net/ubb//smile.gif

One more thing...

I notice your counter is not counting hehe

It's important not to put spaces in the file name (file name is defined with df=FileName)

If you change the beginning of your counter line from
<IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=CNC index.html|dd=GLOWING|

to this

<IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=Katwomen|dd=GLOWING|

It will work http://www.aota.net/ubb//wink.gif

If you want different counters for each page just use Katwomen1 Katwomen2 Katwomen3

The susogi net sites wont work as well w/o including your user name...

Deb, you are the greatest! I was up till 3:30 trying everything. You know, I thought about the case sensitive part, but my brain was mush by then. This morning I got a fresh start and by sheer luck must have corrected the case problem for it started working for me. I did not notice that my counter wasn't counting. Thanks! I will go and correct it. You're the bomb-diggety, girl, as my 12 year old would say :-) Oh, and I love your WebGardens design, can't wait till the whole world sees it!
