Looking for a New Job

Well, I fully expect this to be a zero reply message, but hey -- it's worth a shot.

It's getting time for me to move out of the northern virginia area. My fianc&eacutee and I have had our eye on Asheville, North Carolina for some time; anyone know how that area is for IT jobs? I do web development & design with some database skills thrown in.

A good move thudfactor. I myself moved out of NoVA last Fall.

Don't know about Asheville, but I have friends in Durham who say you can usually find a job in the area without too much problem. Not sure how far away they are.

That's good to know; I lived in the Triangle a few years back. That's the other end of the state from where I want to be, but it would certainly be an improvement. :-)

I visited Asheville last summer. Really a nice place to live, but I don't know much about IT in the area. A few links though:
