MacDizzy

As much as I love my Mac I want to remove all computer related links and information because I haven't updated any of it for ages.
Over time MacDizzy dot com became known for its in depth two stroke engine information. Realistically I can't change the MacDizzy.com name this late in the game without letting it melt and bend slowly into its more appropriately named home TheTwoStroke.com. The statistics show the MacDizzy name is very well known for two stroke engines. Tons of people know the name and it's very well indexed on search engines - almost always coming up with one or two to as many as six or seven of the top ten hits when searching for its targeted content.
The way it should read is as if TheTwoStroke.com came along and it fell in love with MacDizzy.com so they got married. Readers need to see the couple linked. Then as some time passes, the two can become more individual with TheTwoStroke.com presenting more in-depth technical data. So that's where the focus needs to be ultimately. I'll want to put the thrust of a new graphics campaign toward TheTwoStroke dot com which will contain most of MacDizzy's content, in time. The current technical articles and all newly published articles will go to TheTwoStroke.com leaving just a skeleton of links at MacDizzy.com pointing to their new home at TheTwoStroke.com. The MacDizzy Two Stroke Technology Exchange message board will remain at MacDizzy.com to keep its personal, one on one relationship with its readers. It must be clear that the two sites sleep together but have different functions.
I'd like a fresh and easily recognizable unique logo created with roots specific to the two stroke engine theme. Something that's more than a font with drop shadow added. The logo will be used everywhere throughout the site. This is most important to me. After that comes expansion of that into a theme which will extend from the front bleeding into the depth of the site without getting annoying, taking too much time to load, or being confusing. I'd like the theme to say...
" I'm a perfect mate to the well researched articulate articles that I represent. I'm not all go and no show. My full face is visually stimulating and obviously unique. My layout is not thick or thin, it's openly persuasive without asking permission. I'm so modern from now, but not precocious or fake. I'm always super easy to navigate. Because I'm your home page, you'll stay. "
This site is mostly text so I don't like a lot of things moving around because of the distraction - animated things are out for all but perhaps the front page. I know this restricts you a lot but I know someone can build me graphics that are better than a few shades of gray using Claris drag-and-drop Home Page. When I started this site it was the best I could do. I'd love to create a thicker, richer more modern atmosphere but I simply do not have the time. If I knew what I wanted as a logo and theme I'd do it, since I don't I'll leave it up to those who are better at creating visuals.
