My last host was recommended to me on the basis that 'It hardly ever goes down'. I have persistent monitoring (the free service from Uptime) and find that in fact it goes down (literally) every two days.

So my question is does anyone have any persistent monitoring of their site? How much does it go down?

Hi Matthew,
[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp]Here's FutureQuest's uptimes for the months of April and May:

I know that FutureQuest has other services monitoring their uptime... this is just a start!

does anyone have any persistent monitoring of their site? I use WebPartner for persistent monitoring... have since last September.[nbsp][nbsp]They e-mail and page me whenever my sites go down, and send me a statistical summary report every week.[nbsp][nbsp]Other than a 99% day every two or three weeks (and not always FQ's fault), each day has been coming in at 100%.[nbsp][nbsp]I have the weekly reports on my other computer if you'd like more detailed information.

Matthew: Any time any of the servers goes down, there's a thread started in the Server News forum - take a peek in there.[nbsp][nbsp]FQ is very open about these things, which is one of the many reasons I'm with them.[nbsp][nbsp]:)

It's nice to see that kind of information made public (although my current host claimed to put this information up but it was false), but does anyone have any times? E.g., 'my domain was down for 2 hours last month' or whatever.

I'll probably be moving my domain to FQ:

http://richinstyle.com

, which is the best CSS site you'll find anywhere.
