When I type an IP address into the Address field in my Internet Explorer
5.0 it doesn't seem to recognize that the I've typed an IP address
(Specifically, 192.167.168.170), but instead give an error saying that the page cannot be displayed and cites a problem with DNS.
Normal URL type addresses such as www.microsoft.com (http://www.microsoft.com) work correctly.
IE 5 is running over a dial-up connection.
Has anyone ever seen this problem or a similar one?
Thanks
