Public/Private sections on site

I have signed up with FQ and have a temporary domain. When I transfer my main domain from my old host the present (temporary) homepage should transfer to my FQ-hosted domain, right? This page is what I want people to see for another couple of weeks or so. Meanwhile I want to develop the full site in the background. How do I do this, without people accessing the full site now? And can I have a fully functioning site-in-development with its own index page etc, without messing up the existing temporary page. Hope this makes sense.[nbsp]

Simply label the page you want some one to see when they visit yourdomain.com index.html, and then that will be the page they see. You can then make a folder and put the "new" stuff in it to play around with.
