Congrats to the Loh family. Hope mom and dad get some sleep during the night (especially mom!). Enjoy your new, tiny one! (I can't believe my littlest one turns three on the 30th of this month. Don't they grow fast!)

Thanks all for their best wishes!

The baby, named William Thomas, is now home and crying his head off LOL.[nbsp][nbsp]Shortly after arriving home, his daddy got himself into a little motorcycle accident and is now laid up for a week - so Deb, make that every HOUR! :P

Ohhh No! Please do not mention bike accidents!!![nbsp][nbsp]TeRRa finally picked up his dream baby (the ZX12R).[nbsp][nbsp]We have been waiting for this bike for a LONG time and I must say it was worth the wait!! Sweet she is![nbsp][nbsp]But if you've ever seen TeRRa on wheels you'll know his life is something at risk :P

At any rate, best of luck to you with your recovery... hope all goes well in that area.

Here's a pic of our new addition.

[nbsp]- There are two types of riders:
[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp]Those that have gone down, and those that will go down.

Have you noticed that our server reboot times have gone down quite a bit lately... :P

LOL!

I wish I had a picture of the REMAINS of my bike.

Frankly, it can be repaired, but I've decided for the sake of my family that the motorcycle will no longer be a part of my life.[nbsp][nbsp]So when it does get repaired it will be put on the block.

Actually, I'm not too bad - a few stitches in the head to fix my addled brain LOL - and draining some blood from the knee, must've torn some ligament or cartilage slightly.[nbsp][nbsp]Otherwise everything would be more or less okay :) Just gotta stay off the leg for a few days, says the doc.

In any case, that is a KEWL looking bike.[nbsp][nbsp]Not my type - I prefer late 70s-style street bikes which are perfect for riding in Bangkok.[nbsp][nbsp]

TeRRa's new bike is more than KEWL! It's so beautiful by itself it almost makes me cry... :)

Some specs I don't understand sometimes:
http://www.sbo.co.za/kawasaki/zx12rpreview.html

TeRRa, can you give us some specs in terms the general public (not people who stare at its poster while they're at their computers working ;)[nbsp][nbsp])?

William who? Just kidding... :P
Congrats again! I hope you recover quickly.

Congrats on the new addition, Ted... and hope you're back on your feet soon.

Wow TeRRA, that's a beauty... takes you what, about 30 seconds to get over to the servers now?

I had a couple rice burners when I was in high school and college, now that my scars have just about faded I'm thinking of getting another.

I'm already on my feet LOL.[nbsp][nbsp]But still two more days before the bandage officially comes off - yet I can see the bruise running from mid-thigh probably down to the calf.

I say it's these dang casts and bandages that cause the problem - the last time this happened to me I was in Los Angeles at a red light - just as the light turned green I was run down from behind by a Mazda - he dragged my bike for 100 yards past the light.[nbsp][nbsp]I was thrown right into the next lane - fortunately, traffic had not started moving yet.[nbsp][nbsp]Broken fibula that time, but the cast caused me a heck of a lot more pain than the break, so I cut it off after a week with a steak knife!

This time, I landed in the middle of an intersection.[nbsp][nbsp]For that reason only I decided I have two strikes against me and that's the end of my motorcycling days, no matter how much I love the freedom.

ANYHOW... forgot to mention that there is a collage at

http://www.subjects.net/william.html

if you want to see pictures of the baby.

Even I had to say "awwww!" to that one. How long until you start teaching him CGI and PHP? You can never start too young these days. :)

Somehow I managed to get through my biker years without breaking anything, just a separated shoulder and some road rash.

Probably the instant he starts pounding on the keyboard.[nbsp][nbsp]After all, a child's formative years are the most important... :)
