With shared IP's, and the way our QMail system is setup - you will need to use:
mail2.futurequest.net
as this is the frontside Mail Exchanger for your domain...

Thanks for the reply.[nbsp][nbsp]Just to be absolutely clear:
In MX records, transgressive.com is handled by mail2.futurequest.net at X-Hi priority?[nbsp][nbsp]Will this work?
Thanks,
SS

I tried posting this reply in the server forum but I don't yet have site owner status...
I'm in a similar situation as 4bil (who wanted to use 3rd party DNS).[nbsp][nbsp]I digged the Futurequest server and received the information.[nbsp][nbsp]Using register.com's services, I've edited my A record to reflect the IP given.[nbsp][nbsp]It's already propagated for me and so my domain name is already sending me to FQ's servers.
As far as MX, is it best to have the MX record point to mail.mydomain.com and then have mail.mydomain.com under the A record point to the IP? (this has worked with other hosts I've used).[nbsp][nbsp]Or do I need to specifically use "mail2.futurequest.net" in the records?
Thanks,
SS
