I have an idea for another website, but I would need to secure 2 domains (dotster is $15 til April 30)...one would be the name of the website, and the other would be an easily remembered name of the initials.[nbsp][nbsp]

I have 2 large websites (well, to me they're large!), 1 small one (that requires no work), and I am the webmistress of a safety organization's website.[nbsp][nbsp]I have all these ideas for the new site, but I would be receiving emails (hopefully often) and would have to update the site regularly.[nbsp][nbsp]I just don't know if I have time to devote to it.[nbsp][nbsp]

With dotster's sale, I'm finding myself at odds with what to do...and these 2 domain names are currently available.[nbsp][nbsp]I don't have any help for my sites, and I just don't want to pay and have the site just sit closed until I get around eventually to opening it up.

Help! Need to hear your heartbreaking stories ;) .

Whoa - wasn't expecting the new header from service desk to cover this reply LOL!

My suggestion is this, Joi - if you can afford to do so, take on a few high school students who want to learn about web design and operations.[nbsp][nbsp]That way they can learn and you can lay off some of the simpler work that needs to be done.

I'm playing one-man band right now as well, but with onethailand.com and got2bet.com both getting busy, and four other domains sitting kinda dormant, I will probably do the same thing - except I will get university students to do these things and they cost practically nothing over here.

I figure if you have the $30 to spare, go for it - or go to Joker and pay only $12.

Thanx for your suggestions Ted![nbsp][nbsp]I guess if I decide to get those domains I'll have a year or two in which to do something with them! ;)

Go for it. Spend the $30 bucks if you have to spare.

I mean look at me. I have around 30 domains that are dormant (of course Joker has pretty much saved me around $1740 over Netsol). Of the thirty there 7 which are security-domains (variations) and 5 that I will never be renewing. If I don't get use for these domains in the next 1-5 years I will just never renew them or sell them (I know, a little slimy but hopefully I won't *have to* resort to this).

As for handling them. Do what Ted says, find a partner, get one of your own kids involved if he/she wants to (he/she can learn valuable skills and lessons), or just work less fervently and less frequently (although your visitors begin to suffer :( ). ;)

How do I handle my sites?[nbsp][nbsp]Simple, I don't.[nbsp][nbsp]:)
I leave day to day administration and other misc stuff to friends...[nbsp][nbsp]Heck, I'm not going to be writing a single word of 'my' newest site.[nbsp][nbsp]*LOL*
